Meet Anastasiia

My journey in photography intertwines deeply with my family's story, a tale of resilience, love, and the pursuit of a new beginning. Alongside me is my husband, Alex, and our wonderful five-year-old son, Timofii. In our journey through photography, my husband Alex has been my guiding light from the very beginning. Even before we exchanged vows, he was the one who introduced me to the art of capturing moments through his old Nikon camera. It was his patient guidance and unwavering support that ignited my passion for photography and set me on this path of creative exploration.

Our passion for photography blossomed in Ukraine, where we honed our skills and nurtured our dreams. Each click of the shutter was a testament to our shared love for capturing the beauty of the world around us. But on February 24, our lives were abruptly divided into before and after as war engulfed our homeland.

Faced with uncertainty and fear, having lost everything that was dear to us, we made the difficult decision to leave everything behind and seek refuge in America. On February 1, 2024, we arrived in a land of promise and opportunity, determined to rebuild our lives and create new memories far from the echoes of the past.

Starting fresh in America isn't easy, but I found solace in my love for photography. With each frame, I found a sense of purpose and a glimmer of hope for the future.

As we navigate this new chapter of our lives, photography remains my guiding light, a beacon of hope that illuminates the path ahead. Through the lens of my cameras, I continue to document our journey, weaving together the threads of our past with the promise of tomorrow.

Though the scars of war may never fully heal, we find comfort in the love and support of each other, and in the belief that every picture we take is a testament to our strength and resilience as a family. Together, we embrace the future with open hearts and a renewed sense of purpose, ready to write the next chapter of our story.
